About This Project
This project involved the conversion of a derelict stable mews into a stylish 3 bedroom home. Built by the victorians as a stable and garden store the building has high ceilings, old fireplaces and a fully glazed vinery.
In this case less is more. Keeping as many features as possible whilst making the ground floor into an open and light living space. We kept some exposed brick, used lime render on the walls to give a rough hewn feel to the space. Large reclaimed doors and light fittings were used to add some drama to the space.  Floors were a mix of micro-cement and varnished scaffolding boards.
